Batman: Arkham Asylum Game of the Year Edition

I will update this review if they resolve the issue with launching the game. This is not a review of the game itself, but rather the product being sold, which is currently broken. As it stands, a user is expected to jump through several hoops to get the game running on modern systems. This is not the GOG value proposition - games that are sold should work. If a game does not work on modern systems, then it should not be sold. The product page claims that the game works on Windows 7, 10, and 11. On a clean install of Windows 11, I can tell you that the game complains about the following, and simply will not launch: Firstly, it asks to install a .Net 3.5 framework. Secondly, it then throws out an unhandled exception has occurred in your application. The application refuses to launch. There are several workarounds online, which I've tried, but this is actually beside the point. I shouldn't have to do any of this. I do not believe that GOG, Rocksteady or Warner Bros should be able to profit from a game that they sell in a broken state. So I would suggest holding off purchasing this until they resolve this issue.

A game that despite its years is still fantastic and above all with a very outstanding gameplay. And best of all, it's DMR free.

Many hours playing this games with the kids on the PS3. Great to have it on the PC and hopefully saved for many generations to come

Good story, fun in exploring. Fighting mechanics could be better but I know they improved it in the sequels. Now, I understand the lip sync, in another dub won't be easy to follow, but during conversations via a screen, the video and audio are off. By a lot. Like, Joker starts talking BEFORE the audio starts and during his last sentence, his screen freezes until the quote is finished. But, again, this isn't a problem of dubbing, the video of his video calls are off sync.

Still one of the best game that has ever been made.
