Though I do have to knock it quite a bit for failing on the presentation, as that is a rather large part of a game like this, the story that Batman: The Telltale Series has to tell is strong enough to carry it through the technical hiccups. Telltale clearly understood Batman as a beloved character and then used that to turn it on its head and fan or not, this is worth a look.

Gritty Batman Noir
My game didn't crash, as is reported by some reviews in here. But maybe thats because I bought the Shadows Edition that comes with the 2 seasons + the optional "Sin City" filter, so maybe thats why. For the game itself, the classic version does have some issues like framerate drops and out of sync scenes, but nothing brutal. The plot starts kinda slow, but EP 3-5 are pretty good. Even if this first season is not as good as Wolf Among Us and The Walking Dead, I thinks its pretty solid. I look forward to playing Enemy Within, as that one got better reviews.

innovative take
I played this for the first time years after the Earth 1 books and the Matt Reeves film had already released but the direction this story goes and the elements about the secrets of the Wayne family work really well. I also enjoy the Telltale games' tighter structure as it lets me live my fantasy of being at the center of a frank miller comic while staying internally consistent.

It's not bad
Not a bad game. Quite intriguing one, actually. I am giving it a three mostly because of the performance issues that the game is presenting. I am not able to play it above 18 FPS, which really ruins a lot of the fun since this is a game that you spend most of the time watching stuff. And to watch a very lagged game is not thaat fun after all.

Good story, lots of visual bugs though
Story was really good and included different takes on classic Batman characters. Episode 3 was highpoint of hole series and in my opinion game includes best potrayal of one of the villains in Batman. Game's original villain didn't quite work for me and plot run out of steam in the end but first three episodes make up for bit weak ending. Potential buyers should know that game is quite buggy and especially visual hiccups are common, these can be really distracting and broke immersion. Examples of these bugs include stuttering, missing facial animations and sometimes heads moved unnatyrally. If you value plot and story alot more than techical performance I'd say game is worth buying.
