Banner Saga 2

You liked the first ? You'll too like this one! First, storyline is even better than in first episode.. People work together to survive, but still maintain their own objectives. It's difficult to assign on each personality a tag because their reasons don't ever seem totally wrong even if may appear to be very cruel or bad. It seems to me like a book you can write with your hands. Where last words come unexpected, for me. Combat has not changed a lot. More classes and focuses added a lot of variety even in characters that have same class. I'm not really good and in some occasions had to change difficulty setting, but.. it the general feeling was quite the same. In one word? Glorious

Slightly better than The Banner Saga 1 in almost every aspect and the original was already a great game. The only thing was a bit disappointing is the ending: it is even more of a cliffhanger this time.

Banner Saga 2 continues from the end of Banner Saga 1 (including option to use old saves). It introduces new characters to the caravan, particularly the Ravens, with new interesting dynamics. You get the explore the rest of the map with new encounters and choices, including encountering the Horseborn (centaur like creatures). The onslaught of the Dredge continues. Choices over Banner 1 and 2 do have a meaningful impact on the story, particularly at the end. Banner Saga 2 has new dynamics and characters to keep it interesting, alongside a wellwritten story.

excellent follow up to an already great game. makes nice improvements while staying with the formula. I got a lot of enjoyment out of it and it has nice replayability.

Latest update changed, at least, russian translation. Instead of fullname of parameter, like "Armor" (written in russian), there is something like "Arm". Why translations was updated like that...?
