Happy to see it here
That was one of the first games I looked for after signed up at GOG. Very nice, and still playable on modern PCs

Worked on Windows 10, almost no issues
Ran on Aspire V3-372. The only problem was that the screen is stretched out from 4:3 to 16:9, but it's not a big deal. Find the language configuration .bat in the game's directory to set it to english. Oh yeah, also it can randomly start in a small borderless window, solved with a restart (or by clicking on it before it loads? not sure). As for the game itself - well, no wonder i remembered it. Great art direction, both in graphics and music. The balls get finicky on rails, that's about the only complaint i have about the gameplay.

Somewhat broken...
In game textures and skyboxes simply do not load. All the geometry appears as plain white and grey, on top of a pure white background. Nothing in the settings affects the textures, but turning the Clouds option to off does make the skyboxes load (???) And speaking of the graphics settings, going into that menu can break the game. The options will appear as empty boxes and suddenly none of the buttons do anything, can't back out, can't change anything, I'm forced to close the game entirely. The game itself isn't frozen, it's just that the menu locks you in. The only way I've found to fix this is by playing the game at certain resolutions, 640x480 is the only one that lets me into the graphics settings without locking me down.

Classic throwback
Even tho I have a non-GOG version of this game had to write this review because this is such a jewel to have and I like that it finally came to GOG as well! Ballance was super fun to play and one of the early puzzle games with unique mechanics and idea that is very well done! Unfortunately, they absolutely messed everything up with the atrociously bad Ballance 2, but hey we can all enjoy this gorgeous original. And yes, it's the same as an old/original game, if you are pixely retro graphics lover (like I am) then you'll definitely adore this. Big kudos to GOG. :)

Game was awesome, but remake is glitchy
I can't change language from German to any other. After alt-tabbing I can't get fullscreen again. And some minor issues. Nostalgic feelings are great, but...
