Gather your party, and return to the Forgotten Realms in a tale of fellowship and betrayal, sacrifice and survival, and the lure of absolute power.
Mysterious abilities are awakening inside you, drawn from a Mind Flayer parasite planted in your brain. Resist, and turn darkness against itself. Or embrace corruption, and become ultimate evil.
From the creators of Divinity: Original Sin 2 comes a next-generation RPG, set in the world of Dungeons and Dragons.
Choose from a wide selection of D&D races and classes, or play as an origin character with a hand-crafted background. Adventure, loot, battle and romance as you journey through the Forgotten Realms and beyond. Play alone, and select your companions carefully, or as a party of up to four in multiplayer.
Abducted, infected, lost. You are turning into a monster, but as the corruption inside you grows, so does your power. That power may help you to survive, but there will be a price to pay, and more than any ability, the bonds of trust that you build within your party could be your greatest strength. Caught in a conflict between devils, deities, and sinister otherworldly forces, you will determine the fate of the Forgotten Realms together.
Forged with the new Divinity 4.0 engine, Baldur’s Gate 3 gives you unprecedented freedom to explore, experiment, and interact with a world that reacts to your choices. A grand, cinematic narrative brings you closer to your characters than ever before, as you venture through our biggest world yet.
The Forgotten Realms are a vast, detailed and diverse world, and there are secrets to be discovered all around you -- verticality is a vital part of exploration. Sneak, dip, shove, climb, and jump as you journey from the depths of the Underdark to the glittering rooftops of the Upper City. How you survive, and the mark you leave on the world, is up to you.
allows you to combine your forces in combat, and split your party to follow your own quests and agendas. Concoct the perfect plan together… or introduce an element of chaos when your friends least expect it.
offer a hand-crafted experience, each with their own unique traits, agenda, and outlook on the world. Their stories intersect with the entire narrative, and your choices will determine whether those stories end in redemption, salvation, domination, or many other outcomes.
based on the D&D 5e ruleset. Team-based initiative, advantage & disadvantage, and roll modifiers join combat cameras, expanded environmental interactions, and a new fluidity in combat that rewards strategy and foresight.
through your choices, and the roll of the dice. No matter who you play, or what you roll, the world and its inhabitants will react to your story.
allows you to pause the world around you at any time even outside of combat. Whether you see an opportunity for a tactical advantage before combat begins, want to pull off a heist with pin-point precision, or need to escape a fiendish trap. Split your party, prepare ambushes, sneak in the darkness -- create your own luck!
I played all the Baldur's Gate games back in the day, and everything else D&D related over the years. This looks so good that even if it is complete garbage, it'll still be worth it.
The game itself is good overall. I even disagree w/ most & think its def feels in line w a more up to date Baldur's Gate exp. I preordered the originals at EBGames in the mall back in the day. Ive been around a long long time now. What I dont like is that Ive owned it for 2 years now, and its still just one act and its still in 'early release' w no clear date of release set yet...just more promises like when they first said it was 8-12 months est from development and had me buy in at the full rate of $59.99. I have over 150 hrs logged now but wont even be able to keep the characters. Where I should be paid for the 2+ yrs beta testing or get some benefit, I am still wondering at this point if I will even see the game finished, or once finished, will I even care? Never have I been treated this way by a trusted developer. It makes the Bioware, EA, and Bethesda fiascos seem less vile. This is just an abuse of the clientelle.
I love the stuff quality of the game. I understand their passion, but there is no way they should have charged us full price and kept us in this state for over 2 years now. Look at my history. I first played this game over 2 yrs ago now, and I didnt even get it right away! I waited several months hoping to get closer to full release. I have learned a lesson from all this. Never will I nor have I since pre ordered a game again. Companies need to be held to acct to keep wokeism out, micro transactions out, politics out, and agendas out....and to put morals & ethics back in. They need us, we dont need them. We just want what they got, but not when they do things like this! At some point, our distaste supercedes our wants. Our hate supercedes our love.
Release the game, give us old timers something to make up for this abuse you've put us thru, and I can revise this review. As it is, this is my experience and I wish I could have a refund. I feel cheated.
All the woke nonsense you'd expect in a product made for the mythical "modern audience". It's a good game but the degeneracy pandering really brings the whole thing down. Reminds me that I'm not in a fantasy land, but experiencing something made by mentally ill narcissists who think being morale is just doing the opposite of everything tradional western culture is. I'll probably refund, feels more like I'm going to LA than Baldur's Gate.
Its just unplayable, stutter. low fps, crashes, this shit its worse than cyberpunk at launch, and its not even close on graphics... refunded.
Besides, i dont see all the best rpg ever thing, its basically dragon age 1 on crack.

Let me take you on a journey through the majestic world of these Persol sunglasses. Imagine yourself walking down a bustling city street, the sun's rays beaming down upon you. As you gracefully put on these sunglasses, you can feel an air of confidence enveloping you.
The first thing that catches your eye is the unique square small rectangular shape of the lenses. Unlike the regular and mundane designs you see every day, these sunglasses challenge the norms. They beautifully frame your eyes, flattering your face shape and accentuating your features.
But what truly sets these sunglasses apart is their trendy rimless design. With no traditional frame to confine them, the lenses seem to float effortlessly, giving an ethereal charm to your appearance. The absence of a rim not only adds a touch of modernity but also enhances your field of vision, allowing you to observe the world around you with unparalleled clarity.
As you wear the Persol sunglasses, the star chains adorning the temples become the pièce de résistance. These delicate chains, reminiscent of the night sky, cascade gracefully from the temples, adding a celestial aura to your overall look. They delicately
dangle as you move, capturing the attention of those around you and making you the star of the show.
