Over 20 years ago, without the internet and with a slow PC, I spent hours playing Baldur's Gate 1 and 2. This wonderful fantasy world with numerous lovingly crafted details and humorous dialogues consumed me. Larian Studios has managed to bring the childhood memories into the modern era with Baldur's Gate 3, infusing it with a lot of attention to detail, love, humor, and charm. I adore this game and find it to be exceptionally well-executed. A definite recommendation!
Absolutely wonderful experience. As a fan of both the original BG games, which I played when they came out, and of Larian's Divene Divinity series, I am enjoying this very much. Bringing BG to the possibilities of 21st century gaming, with an engaging and interesting story and characters which will make you google a lot of Forgotten Realms lore. It not only connects with BG but also brings back memories of Planscape Torment, another Black Isle masterpiece of the time. And all this mixed with Larian's trademark comedy elements and amazing talking animals. It also features a lot of character customisation. It will appeal to both older and younger gamers. The cons? If you manage to get away from your computer and relate to other human beings, you will be thinking how long until I can get back to BG3 again...

Baldur's Gate 3 it's not a game for everyone, it's an easy game to play but really hard to master, you have plenty of options to role play, a lot of solutions for the same problem and you can be as innovative as you want cause the game give you plenty of tools to develop your type of gameplay. But it's hard to master for the same reason, for somebody who don't play D&D the amount of knowledge and information presented could be exhausting.
Yet this game could be infinite replayed, trying different play styles, races or path. I can easily recommend it. Just be a little paciente for the first 10 - 20 hours.
I cannot believe people giving negative review to this game. It's perfect on every aspect:
- Deep character creation & gameplay, similar to what you can expect from a D&D game;
- Perfect graphics and animations. It feels like watching a movie during the cut scenes since the voice acting, animations & camera moves are so good;
- Music is good;
- You really feel like it's a RPG: a lot of characters which seem to really exist with their own personalities + EVERY choice counts, depending on the dialogues, character talking and rolls, the story can be massively different.
Honestly, just buy it, what are you waiting for?
