Couch coop that will never be fixed?
I bought this game to experience yet another great RPG couch coop experience with my wife. We quickly learned game is unplayable in this mode due to bizarre design decisions that breaks whole fun of playing together. Mostly forced split screen that, unlike two previous Divinity games, is always on no matter how close both characters are. We put the game aside waiting for this to be fixed as the launch was rough and some things were expected to be unfinished. That was like... 2 years ago? I know people love this game for how great the story is but unfortunately might be I'll never experience this. At least not the way I wanted - together.

Good Entry CRPG with Nice Visuals
It's a fairly polished CRPG with a lovely aesthetic and a few (?) minor bugs and crashes that can be easily avoided with regularly saving/reloading. As far as modern CRPGs go, this one is by far the easiest to get into for people who aren't familiar with the usual quirks and design choices that often plague the genre. However... something just kinda feels a bit off? (for me at least) Maybe it's a fault of the modern D&D ruleset in general, but everything from the combat down to the systems, class/character building, etc. just feels so incredibly streamlined to the point where it started to become hard for me to maintain interest in the game itself. There is merit in simplicity, but for many older CRPG players this is one of those weird things that we've come to expect and love from these titles. Many can argue that overly complex mechanics tend to detract from the overall narrative (which is a pretty damn good point), but it just doesn't feel right to me when so many aspects of one's character are out of the player's control. As far as the writing is concerned... some people will love it and some will hate it. I admit that I did not enjoy it much, but there are games with far, far, FAR worse writing than what BG3 offers. If you are familiar with Larian's previous titles (namely D:OS1 and 2, maaaybe Divinity 2) then you likely already have some idea of what to expect. BG3 is a pretty nice game, just not necessarily for everyone. Note: If you find yourself disliking the game early on, I recommend trying to stick with it until act 3 pops around because the game becomes far more interesting at that point.

Game is the best ever made
You can do pretty much anything and every action has a consequence. 10/10 650h in now and can't really see it stopping anytime soon.
