Baldur’s Gate 3 is something special, though. Its complexity is intimidating, but sticking with it and learning has such a high reward threshold that it's hard to not recommend the sequel to even the most casual gamers out there. It has heart, it has style, and it has the multi-year effort of a studio that obviously loves its source material. The mind-blowing size of the game itself and everything contained within is a testament to Larian Studios' dedication to its craft and commitment to bringing something incredible to the gaming public. The blend of the various Dungeon & Dragons systems into the game is almost flawless in its execution, and the math and storytelling combo does a one-two punch on almost every other RPG game out there. High quality and astoundingly fun, Baldur’s Gate 3 may just become the kind of game that old and new fans can agree is something extraordinary.

Amazing Game
Allows meaningful and consequential player choice, has a rich combat system, well-written and memorable characters....just the best RPG on the market and perhaps the best of all-time. Larian hit a home run on this. My only issue is crashes with local couch coop so if you are specifically looking for that then you probably want to try it immediately on purchase.

This moment of revelation leaves you in awe of the plot’s intricacy. It’s a testament to the skill of the writers, who have crafted such a beautiful, grand, and unforgettable tale. The experience is like savoring a fine wine: even after you’ve finished, the taste lingers, revealing new depths with each reflection. The soundtrack, too, is impeccable. As you create your character, "Who Are You" plays—a soothing melody that encourages you to take your time. There’s no need to rush into the adventure; instead, immerse yourself fully in the process, ensuring you’re completely satisfied with your character, as this shapes your entire experience. One of the game’s main themes, "The Power," is especially impactful. To me, it speaks not to the obvious power in the game (not talking about the lyrics) but to inner strength—the power of a resilient will that refuses to yield. Life throws countless challenges at us, but there is no reason to surrender. We should explore every option, try every solution, and show the world we are not so easily broken! When I heard "The Power" again during the credits, I realized that my growth came not just from the enemies I defeated but from the obstacles I overcame and those close moments of near defeat. In the end, the journey mattered far more than the final outcome. The rhythm of this song is slow—not meant to send adrenaline rushing through your veins but to create a serene moment in your mind. True strength, after all, does not come from momentum but from your steadiness and perseverance.
