DnD Simulator
I love the game, takes me back to Baldurs Gate 1. The game Mechanics are fun and retaught me how to Play DnD. Turns out I was doing Advatnage Rolls wrong for almost 10 years lol.

I love this game
There are obviously things that aren't perfect as it's impossible to make a perfect game, but I never felt so welcomed as I did by playing this game. I love how inclusive the game is and how the companion stories are handled. I love that the companions seem to genuinely care about each other and became friends over the course of the game. I love that this game is a prime example of what can you do if you love what you are doing and don't care about the money.

One of the Best RPGS of the Decade!!!
As a new comer to turn-based RPGs, being more familiar with the likes of more action-oriented RPGs such as The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt and The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, Baldur's Gate 3 was quite the experience for me, as a new commer. My favourite thing about the game is combat followed by the character customization. Alot of people will say that even though it is not 1:1 to actual D&D, I actually like the tweaks Larian gave to the D&d 5th Edition formula, as it is balance between being welcoming to new players and familiar veterans. And the game even got me to read alot about D&D lore and mechanics, and I actually got addicted to the shear build combinations you can make, if you do the math and are really into the heavy number-crunching. Currently I am playing as a Red Dragonborn who is a multiclassed Sorcerer/Cleric/Wizard. Being someone who has tried Divinty: Original Sin 2, Larian's previous game, I am blown away by the amount of options for customizing the look of your character, especially when dealing with distinct races such as Dragonborn, Tieflings, Githyanki and Orcs. I was even shocked was this the same developer as the visuals where vastly improved. And even more so true if you want to use mods to "spice" things up more. Since this is a Post-EA review as of 2024, my experience will be different than those who played the game early when things might have been different, and even then not everyone might like BG3 or have some strong dislike to its aspects. But terms of player choices, mod support, performance & optimization, cross saving, online play and couch co-op. I can safely say Baldur's Gate 3 really hit the ball out of the park with this one. Especially when Larian continues to give us so many free updates and features, with the speculated new classes, cross-play and co-op mod in 2025, its safe to say that this game will have alot replayability and longevity. As someone who bought the game on both Xbox and GOG, I highly recommend it.
