Originally, I was skeptical of Baldur's Gate 3. I couldn't understand how they would follow up BG1 and 2. I didn't like how the controls had changed, how there were only 4 people in your group, and how I couldn't see how it would be connected to BG1&2. When the game finally released, I decided to give it a real honest try again, and I am so glad that I did. It's an incredible game, living up to the hype of all the awards and reviews. I loved the way they linked it to the first two games, while allowing it to be amazing as a standalone game. The story, the music, the characters, the voice acting...! Everything is incredible about this game and I love it.
This might be my new favorite Western RPG since Skyrim and Mass Effect 2. The writing and characters are deep, the turn-based combat is some of the most enjoyable in the genre I have experienced, the music is out of this world, and the exploration and world building gives me the same feeling as a Zelda game. This game so earned all of its GOTY awards!
You can lose hours in this game and still want more. Its quite the slow boil but i am already finding moments were i know i can do another playthrough and do something differnet. Love this game.

I like super good, good ,well your alive, gee to bad about the party and Ah crap did you screwed up the world endings.
