Controller support needed
The keyboard and mouse seem to be the only way to play the game. Controllers failed to work when trying to move my character and use the menu. I experimented with Xbox,Switch,PS4,and generic type controllers. This is the first game I have asked for a refund on.

Great game
The worst are the people who whine about the mouse/joypad support. You want to be gamers and after decades you still haven't gotten used to the standard input device for many genres?

The game was...
... mediocre on consoles 20 years ago. It's expensive and exactly the same game twenty years later (though displaying all right in 16:9). In three months, you'll get it for 0.99 in a discount sale. Only mice will buy it. Oh, and also: how does it relate to the RPG Baldur's Gate franchise? As much as you relate to a wheelbarrow full of mice. Conclusion: If you are a professional sucker, buy it immediately full price! Or you'll lose your sucker license.
