Fantastic Game
While I still prefer the look of the original Exile series. The quality of life improvements for the modern Avernum trilogy has been much appreciated. Great game still!

Avernum 3 Explorer
Entire Game is well balanced and much fun to explorer and do the quests. I do cheat at about 1/2 above the normal to not die so often. One of the better in the series save for AV6 which is hard no matter what. Treasure is always a sparkle to find, so keep yur eyes wide.

Newer is not better
Save yourself the trouble and play Exile II: Ruined World , if you can. If not, the first Avernum III remake. This one is awful. The UI and combat is clunky. Skills are too few to have any character uniqueness. Everything is so streamlined that it's lost all of it's charm. No. The original game was one of the first games I ever played. It is incredibly meaningul to me. The first remake was a decent upgrade. This is a travesty.
