ATOM RPG is a turn-based post-apocalyptic indie roleplaying game, inspired by classic CRPGs like Fallout 1 - 2, Wasteland, Baldur's Gate and many others.
In 1986 both the Soviet Union and the Western Bloc were destroyed in mutual nuclear bombings. You are one of the survivors of the nuclear Holocaust. Your mission - to explore the wild and wondrous world of the Soviet Wasteland. To earn your place under the sun. Weak story, thinks harders is funnier, but it's not, lazy script, time consuming, few content, lot's skill check, but no real meaning.

Unplayable
This game is unplayable, I went on a road with cca 20 HP, witth no aid, and I constantly get ambushed and dying by groups of some kind of bandits. I died several times in a row. Group of 2-3 bandits attack me, every hit for a 3-6 HP, I die pretty fast. I think this game is poorly optimized and unbalanced for new players.

Great concept bad execution
I have a 64-bit Windows 10 system that more than meets the required HW requirements. Immediately upon installation I had to do 3 work arounds just to get past the introductory movie. Once that was accomplished I made it through character creation, the tutorial, and about 45 mins of the first area. The game itself is really fun and well done. That is the last positive thing I can say because due to the fact that I now cannot get past the introductory screen no matter how many "fixes" I try. I do not think that I should have to do hours of research on bug fixes when my system meets the advertised requirements so I am giving this game a 1 star rating due to the hours I've wasted trying to play it. Time to move on to the next game. Good try but bye bye.
