Ascendant

The game doesn't really function properly. Dying to game limitations rather than lack of skill is extremely annoying. Some of the boss mechanics were interesting though. I think the game could be good if it was completely remade at a higher quality.

It's a "Beat 'em Up" like any other, however this one has caused me special pleasure since its appearance goes beyond a pixelated arcade style. The background music is beautiful and the visual experience is very smooth. The difficulty of the game is not very high, you just have to know how to beat the bosses with special techniques. The only bad thing about this game is that its PC controls are very poorly done. It is impossible to dash going to the left because you have to press Q in turn, so you have to release the A key. Yes, I know you can rebind the keys, but I have not been able to do it, it works a bit strange. I have played with an Xbox One controller and it has worked perfectly.

Not bad for a free game. Such a great way to kill time playing this game. You just need to parry at the right time and dash as well, bu other than that it's fun.

minor suggestions probably said elsewhere. dash should probably be one button plus a direction defulting to direction player is facing. also player should probably move with moving platforms. combat was excellent and free flowing art was solid and convyed well. consider renaming diffculties.
