Need some serious redesign
Very interesting concept, but it's held back by bad design decisions. I like the pretense of having to maintain a laundromat to keep your clandestine arcade running. Unfortunately some of the design decisions are frustrating and took the fun out of the game for me. For some insane reason, an enormous section of the economy is gated behind an entirely different currency that you can only obtain by completing challenges. As a result you end up collecting a huge amount of cash from the business you spent the early game setting up, but you have nothing to spend it on. This was particularly frustrating because there were obviously more expansions to the arcade which were unavailable for no apparent reason. There's an employee you can hire, but instead of them taking a daily wage from your income, you have to buy them with the special currency. Even mundane stuff like "new shoes" were gated behind this currency. This ruined the illusion of being a small business owner, and ultimately my enjoyment of the game. In my opinion this game doesn't respect the player's time and effort. Your gaming hours are better spent elsewhere.
