Does Aquarist have DRM?

Good Game with a lot of potential

You must keep in mind, that the game still is in development. The game works nearly perfect, I did not find any bugs yet. Of course not everything is ready. You have only two types of aquariums and one type of lamp. On the other side there are nearly 50 different corals already. So hopefully the complexity of the game will increase with further updates. If you have some experiance with real aquariums, you will find it very easy to keep your shops running and everyone alive. For me the grafic is beautiful and I enjoyed my first hours of playing very much.

A slow burn at first

This game can be demanding at time, but feels really realistic in what would be required to take care and maintain multiple aquatic set. I reccomand you take the normal game on a sale and if you like it, to get the dlcs later on

Best in the field so far

Game has story mode with no particular name, its not just about a fishtank the tank is a feature in your home and can change locations based on story mode progresss. There are some limitations like not being able to combine subtrates or zoom right in or control fish and explore the tank. Few fish including bristlenose tetra and guppy. More fish and food options, decorations ect would be improvements to make and would be interesting if done similar to garden simulator in that unlocks via progress. some mobile apps do this to. The perspective mentioned can be seen in tavern master and dungeon master.

weird angles

if youre actually building a tank you can look from the top and you can squat to see the front and stuff. just weird as hell to decorate a tank from a standing angle.
