Anima: Gate of Memories

There's just so much wrong with this title I don't even know where to begin... The voice acting is so bland and soulless they might as well not even bothered with putting in any voices. The so called main protagonists are just bland characters which consists of a try hard emo loser who says "Babe" all the time who acts like a fucking high school freshmen trying to be all edgy. While the female character is just a cardboard cutout with no memorable qaulities whatsoever. They try to have these two characters as some sort of love/hate relationship but it fails miserably. The worst of all that's the most offensive is the horrific combat. This is not a skill issue. This is not a matter of anything other than the fact that the devs can't develop a decent fighting game. This is so bad....damn as bad as Blades of Time bad except worse in a lot ways. The control is so shit. Not to mention that the enemies just instant attack you every chance you get. The game could be best desrcibed as a fucking projectile spammer. It's ridiculous! No matter how much you react as fast as you can, you're always knocked back right on your ass in every single hit! The leveling up process is awful as you never feel like you're progrssing. I hate the way they make you assign attacks too. It's very unintuitive. All in all. Bland, broken, waste of time title that's getting the reception of negativity it deserves. I'm literally writing this I've decided to rage quit this game due to being literally unplayable. The final level is so bad you can't even pass it. So I've had a lot of time with this game and can safely say it's garbage and don't buy it at all! My final score? 3/10. While it did have some interesting themes and cool concepts the execution of it was terrible. Everything about this feels like a broken soulless bland shell of something that shouldn't exist. Ignore the positive reviews! They're all blind and lying. You'll waste your time on something that can't even function properly!

Sry. This sort of games needs just good controls. Here this sucks totally and feels like moving a cow. Style is nice. But thats all. Congratulations and respect who got such much patience to play such a bad made game.

Backer here ($85). Would have been nice to know whether the game is good or not, but I never got my Linux version from this company (which was listed as supported in FAQ and exists on GOG). Their download link only has Windows version and I only have Linux as my OS. Did not to get any replies on Kickstarter or their various emails. Will not support again.

the first level can not be completed because the amount of archers is too many. i can not get close to them because they always hit and i can not hit them because they block. the experience system is also broken so i get no experience.

Console games should not be on PC. Period. Modern developers couldn't do that right. It's just awful. All of them: camera, controls, level design, scenario, reaction to control. But you got visuals! Damn it. I don't want to guess where player is when camera mode changed, I don't want endless cutscences with dumb voice acting, I don't want boss after boss on my raped keyboard trying to get this mumbling scumbag out of fire. I expect action with pinch of story. What I've got... is just unplayable.
