One of the most overrated horror games

This game is slow, boring and the narrator's voice (which is you) is also boring to listen to. The atmosphere is creepy at times and your lamp lights up more than 3 feet in front of you, but when a scare finally happens all you do is run away from an indestructible enemy which makes the game tedious and frustrating rather than adding to the feeling of being helpless.

Some call it scary...

...But I personnaly call it boring. Plain boring. The game doesn't create anything new: it's the same old horror codes again and again. Oh, monsters in the shadows, that's original. And it's also dark, great (the real pain will be the screen glare, though). You just go from one place to another, desesperatly waiting for something interesting to happen, wich, by the way, never happens. Go read a good book by Stephen King or Dan Simmons instead, really.
