Description
From the BAFTA-Award winning studio behind Monument Valley and Assemble with Care comes something entirely new.
Join Alba as she visits her grandparents on a Mediterranean island. She is ready for a peaceful summer of wildlife exploration with her friend Ines, but when she sees an animal in danger, she realises she needs to do something about it.
This is truly a Mediterranean paradise if you ignore all the litter! From the idyllic beaches to the ancient castle overlooking the town a whole island is ready to be explored. With Ines and your grandfather - who is a total bird nerd - by your side, you can start the movement to save the island. Maybe even the world after that.
- Handcrafted visuals. Every little corner of the island has been looked after with great detail. Trust me, it took us a while to make it
- Join Alba and Ines to found the AIWRL (really rolls off the tongue doesn't it?), an organisation that can save the island
- You will need to gather a bunch of volunteers and the town is full of good people. Help them out and convince them to join you
- There are animals everywhere, can you find all the species?

Amazing Exploration. Wandering around the Island and taking pictures of all the different animals was so much fun, I loved it! Plus it has a great message.

A lovely and wholesome adventure
It's a wonderful game full of inspiration and hope without being too preachy. The story is pretty simple, but wholesome. You are Alba, a carefree nature loving girl who is tasked with saving a nature preserve on her grandparent's tiny little island. You must photograph the local wild life, clean up the rubbish, tend to sick animals, repair bridges (she's also a master carpenter!) and stop the construction of a luxury hotel that will destroy the wildlife preserve all while uncovering a dastardly plot. The gameplay is very simple, but refreshing. No health bars, no enemies (except the obvious one) and no time limits. Grab your camera, snap some pics, pick up garbage, etc. This is not a criticism against the game, mind you. It knows exactly what it wants to be and does it very well. The visuals are bright and colorful and look great. They'll age well, too. The semi-blocky character models add uniqe charm and character without being distracting. The sound is lacking with the music playing only occasionally. This was done, I believe, to provide the player a method of hearing the various animal calls, but those are usually lost due to distance and being overlayed with other animal sounds. I think the only negative critic I have of the game is that it missed an opportunity to be educational. With all the animals Alba photographs and adds to her scrap book they could have provided some real world information on them (habitat, diet, size, etc). It's not a game for everyone, but it was a lovely experience even in my 30s.

Homely and fun
Go around a little island, snapping photos of all the common and exotic animals which you share it with. Help out around town to progress the story. I never needed an external guide. It's real chill. Simple, accessible, comforting, and satisfying!
