A clunky classic
The controls do leave a lot to be desired, but nonetheless a very atmospheric horror survival pastiche with a great story.

absolute cinema
I absolutely love this game. Thought the difficulty seem to ramp up in certain areas, the game feels well balanced. The combat in this game is elevated by the use of the light to control the movements of the enemies which keeps you engaged. Highly recommend.

My favorite game on GOG
What to say about game that deserve to be on PC for begginig. Now when I see it on GOG, I'm crying of hapiness. Could it be, DRM free, this is why I'm happy like child with candy, and cause I'll not have to buy it on steam. The story with strong feeling will make you sit in front of your monitor untill you finish it and find out what happened to Alan. As fan of Stephen King this game was for me like reading on of his book. Remedy succed in keeping psihodelic and thriller atmosphere. There are a lot of refernces on King's books, especially "The Shining", as well as movie adaptation with Jack Nicholson. All in all, Alan Wake is "The game", and I'm glad to see where's GOG going. Love you CD projekt. :D P.S. This is objective opinion.

Pretty graphics, a story that tries to be ambitious (it isn't), quite repetitive gameplay... It's worth a shot, but don't expect a psychological thriller or anything...
