A.I.M.: Artificial Intelligence Machine

nice when it doesn't crush. unfortunately when it does it's very frustrating

As niche and obscure as it it, A.I.M. is an absolute gem and such a well made game. It is so easy to immerese yourself into a beautifully built world and explore intriguing landscapes for hours at a time, with so many options to customize your glider and interact with complex economy of a huge robot civilization.

the game is just as I remember playing.... I don't know how many years ago, but I remember it was on a Compaq Presario, I didn't remember that I had to save so often because it's so damn easy to die in the game, it's complatible with win 11, don't know if it's just me, but there are moments where it stutters, but the game works and you can run commands to cheat ingame so you can make your life easier... not easy, the game still requires an actual level of skill and to know when to run away. Aiming controls are old style, meaning the whole camera is the aim and not just the reticule.

This obscure Russian hidden gem is tough to start, but by god is it rewarding. Enter the land of the Mechminds and unravel the mysteries. But do it your way - you can trade, you an fight, you can just be a 'courier' ie carry out missions. A brutally cruel and glacial beginning will put all but the most hardy off (i resorted to a cheat code to get credits) , but those that persevere are rewarded with a rich an dstrabge universe, with 6 different areas to explore. upgrade your ship, defend your mechmind, and go out and find out just why you are the only 'Free One'

No matter what I try it wont run on win 10 and there is no solutions available online.
