Unplayable
Bought the game a little before the GOG campaign, but decided to play now and.. well, it crashes within the first 2 minutes.

Highly immersive unique experience
This game is not for everyone. It does not mean though that people should do it injustice by subjective reviews. After it has been patched and uncensored, it is an amazing experience and at least a decent game.

A nice complete experience.
The year is 2024 and I have played through the game Agony multiple times with very little to no issues regarding bugs and glitches. The game has multiple endings, so it has a ton of replay value added to it and many secrets to discover. The game is dark and sinister, but that's to be expected with a game depicting the atmosphere and story telling of what waits for the protagonist in hell. The game has many stealth elements as you try to sneak around undetected from demons and enemies with powers and abilities unmatched by your human body and soul. Not all is lost along your journey, you will master the ability to possess these demons to obey you and do your bidding as the game unfolds. You can play the censored version or the unrated version the choice is yours and it's always nice to have more options. The visuals are amazing as it completely immerses you into the horrors that await around every corner. People who have reviewed the game have not played through the game entirely because once you learn how to harness the power of possession to gain the upper hand you have the ability to fight back. It's a well thought out game and any horror fan will feel right at home with a shocking and scary experience.

I tried...
The concept was promising but it's too janky for me. I'm getting 30-40fps on an RX 6800...The controls aren't great and getting around is awkward. I stopped playing after an hour. Still 3 stars for artistic direction, the world they've created is definitely disturbing.

clunky and annoying... i hate stealth games. the atmosphere would be great, but without the forced-timed stealth stupidity!
