No controller support

A modern platformer that does not recognize on its own a normal xBox controller is just not worth it. Some keys the game recognizes, some not, and a remapping of the keys or manual set-up is not available in the game option. Under these circumstances absolutely not worth it!

Relaxing, fun and simple

AER, I really like this game, it's one of those "always on sale" game that after playing it I thought to myself "Yeah, I wouldn't have mind buying the full price to this". The story is a bit cliché, but I still liked it. The flying part might be the best flying controls I saw in a game, it feels really smooth, precise. The only part that isn't very good imo is the platforming in human form, the movements are a bit too rigid for my taste. 9/10

What an absolute drag...

...that there has not been a follow-up to Aer. It's a brief, relaxing low-poly adventure puzzler that feels like it would have served well as a prelude to a larger story. Maybe some day? They finally made a follow up to the movie "Twister", and that worked out swimmingly. So there's hope; one day you might get to show your grandkids Aer 2 and tell them about the oldie that preceded it.

beautiful just beautiful

The game is simply beautiful, I love the soundtrack and how it is made and how relaxing it is. I have already bought it twice on Steam and on GoG and I really do not regret it, I am truly delighted.

Wonderful 5hr Experience

Just beat it a bit ago (Switch Lite) with 5 hours on record and possibly no rock left unturned. Y'all. This is a wonder of an experience. If you're into casual exploration, chill landscapes, mysterious worldbuilding, minimal UI's, and fascinating lore, this is your game. Especially if you don't mind puzzles and simple platforming. The buildup towards the end really gripped me, and I like how the developers ended it. The only problems the game gave me were: 1) confusion of what to do (after putting it on hold for awhile), 2) frustration with failing to land a certain unnecessary jump (i wanted to see a statue up close), 3) the lag on one of the end levels (very excusable considering how much was going on).
