A Plague Tale: Requiem

Great adventure, tragic story, amazing maps and graphic worlds...

Amazing the game nearly brought me to tears. I hope they end up doing a modern day one that would be dope

I enjoyed my time with the game the same way I enjoyed the first game in the series, but it has its issues. Gameplay is a mixed bag with some stealth sections that force you to kill or get spotted to progress, which I found highly annoying, especially combined with the fact that you can't manually save and have to reload checkpoints if you die or get spotted and wanted to be sneaky. In terms of presentation the game is punching quite a bit above its weightclass, with great art design, very good graphics, good sound design, music and excellent voice acting. I would say it outperforms quite a few triple A titles in those aspects, which is impressive. The story overall was enjoyable and I liked most of the main cast, but especially Amicia as a character started to get on my nerves with some of her actions which you as the player can't influence. The game at times also wallows a bit too much in misery for my taste and can get quite depressing, especially towards the end. Overall if you enjoyed the first game, which you should definitely play first as this one basically picks up right where it left off, you will most likely enjoy Requiem as well. Personally I liked Innocence better, but that comes down to a matter of personal preference.

I really liked every aspect of the game, for it`s porpuse, that was to me, the great storyline.
