The Roaring Twenties: a bygone era of glitz, glamour, and promise. Nowhere is this more apparent than Coral Gables, Florida. The real estate market is booming and even an ordinary guy like Alfie Banks has a chance to strike it rich.
But with the mob on his back, the Great Depression on the horizon, and the Sunshine State’s idyllic waterfront only a hurricane away from total devastation, Alfie finds much more than he bargained for.
Based on actual events and featuring real life locations and historical figures, you must guide Alfie on his journey to reach the top of the real estate game as he deals with shady salesmen, cutthroat bootleggers, corrupt politicians, and much more, all while swept up in the events surrounding the inception of Coral Gables, The City Beautiful.
Explore authentic historical locations from 1920s Miami.
Enjoy a quiet drink behind closed doors with some unsavory characters.

Not a masterpiece or anything but a rather good p&c-game with an unusual setting. Not very heavy on puzzles. More of a narrative driven game. Worth to play through once if you like the sound of it.
The first 30 minutes of this game are amazing and very good. The Jazz music, the characters, the entire setting sets you up for a good experience.
And then.. the puzzles are shallow, when they are not trivial, they border on the innane. The character of the main persona you're playing as is terrible, uncouth and just plain unrelateable. Mid-game, this point'and'click still shows some promise and, maybe, I can find some redeeming qualities to it. The art is good, the sound is good.
But the end-game... the last 30 minutes of this game are utterly horrendous. You, as the player, have such a limited array of options. The morality of your main character is suddenly changed on a dime. You are left with options, none of them remotely good.
This game ends in a trainwreck. I do not recommend it. The story starts decent but the last 30 minutes are utterly SO BAD that I regretted buying it.
Dev, do better. The entire ending arc was abysmal, forlorn, horrible and just.. sad.
a decent game, not the best not the worst, definitely worth playing
the puzzles are a bit lame but not too difficult - they are there to push the story forward, no mundane tasks
overall, good experience, would recommend for all point and click fans
