Requires GOG Galaxy for Download
Fine game, but it requires GOG Galaxy to actually receive this DLC! Currently Galaxy is the only way to play this campaign. I bought it and found out the hard way there is No direct download link. Support was very willingly refunded to my account, once I indicated I do not use Galaxy. Great customer service from GOG!

A fine extra campaign for a new faction
Owners of the base game get to play the new faction in online and skirmish mode without paying extra which is nice. It's not a "pay to win" DLC but adding value to the base game by adding another full campaign to the game, equaling to couple of hours of extra distraction. Thus at the price IMO it's OK to make a DLC. It should be noted now that as of writing the DLC is now also available for non-Galaxy use installation.

I didn't needed Galaxy.
On my side I downloaded the games through in my library, under the tab of the original game, like any DLC by other games. Possible that at the time it gets out, it was not there, dunno. By the DLC itself, it is more or less the same as original game, with a new campaign a bit shorter and a new faction (flame tank and stealth tank, in order to increase nostalgia factor). So if you didn't liked the original game, you will likely not like it, otherwise you will appreciate a few more missions and new units.
