he game is already available on GOG under the name Z: The Game by TickTock Games / Kiss. Unfortunately, many players have mentioned that it is a port from mobile systems and lacks features from the DOS/Win95 versions. I request a standalone release of the Win95 or DOS version of Z or the inclusion of the original game as part of the current purchase.

There are RTS games that rely on either speed of tactics. This is the only one where enduring the pressure the game forces on you is the most important key to beat it. The game is not only challanging, I also like the humor. I'm very curious whether GOG would add the original dos/windows version or the phone/tablet port.

I love the way the game made me desperate and amused with its humor "you will lose, you're lame" <3. I'll love to play it again for a couple of missions. Thanks !:)

Official UK Playstation Magazine 15 - Jan 1997. Demo disc was very difficult for a 9 year old. I'd like to play the full PC version because I want to beat this game properly...at 37 years old. That'll show Z who's boss.

I started gaming with the Westwood RTS games, and this one was... different. So very different. The player is forced to take action, bring the fight to the enemy. Economy is directly tied to how much of the map you can hold. It is possible to slow production, or even steal enemy units, by taking the right territory at the right time. Infantry had real value in this game, despite being very vulnerable. Rifle fire could clean out tank and gun emplacement crews, permitting any infantry to take over enemy equipment. the ability to swim opened up new paths. And the AI used all of this properly. There was a bit of luck and random in all this, but it fit well with the madness and over the top feel of the game. As such, this game is a hidden gem of RTS that can still hold up to modern day games in terms of innovation and intelligent gameplay.

Breath of Fire: Dragon Quarter
Breath of Fire: Dragon QuarterBreath of Fire: Dragon Quarter is a radical departure from the previous titles of the Breath of Fire series, and in some ways from standard Japanese-style role-playing games in general. The game is built like a huge dungeon crawler, with no overworld map. The combat is tactical: each character has action points (AP), which can be used to move around the screen during an enemy encounter, and perform a variety of combo attacks. There is no magic in the game, and many of the items found in dungeons are random. All the enemies are visible on screen. Depending on who first initiated a physical contact, the party or the enemies get an extra turn in battles. The game allows (and even encourages) the player to restart it from the beginning, keeping the items and the party experience. The game also features a special counter - Ryu can use his traditional dragon transformation abilities, but the counter raises with each such transformation, and when the counter reaches 100, the game is over. Raising the D-ratio allows characters to access new areas every time the game is replayed.

Front Mission 4
Front Mission 4In the year 2096, the Wanzer ("Walking Tanks" mecha) form the backbone of many military forces. The European Community is enjoying a period of relative peace when it is surprised by sudden attacks on German bases from a mysterious force. To investigate, it is decided to send the EC Armor Tactics Research Corps, also known as "Durandal". Inside the Durandal, a young new recruit, Elsa soon finds herself caught in an international plot. Meanwhile, the nation of Venezuela, is attempting to secede from the Unified Continental States (U.C.S.). UCS Forces are sent in to restore order and dispose of Governor Diaz. During a routine patrol, Sgt. Darril and his patrol witness a cargo plane being shot down. Heading to investigate, they soon discover it was a plane carrying part of Diaz's gold. For demoralized UCS soldiers like Darril, this smells like opportunity... Front Mission 4 is a turn based strategy game where the plot switches between two different theaters of operation: Elsa and Darril. Controlling the wanzer forces of either character, the story progresses simultaneously. Most battles take place on an overhead map divided into a Player phase and an Enemy phase. Typically a wanzer can move once and use his remaining Action Points (AP) to fire on the enemy or use an ability. Success in battle earns Experience Points, which are traded in for new abilities, such as Rapid Fire or Evasion bonuses. Each character has a set limit of Skill slots, which are filled up differently by abilities. While each character starts with a preference in skills, there is no limitation on what any pilot can learn. Money, found during on the map (along with items) or earned after a successful battle, can be used to upgrade wanzers and purchase new weapons.

The demo includes two different pre-made card decks and supports both single player gameplay and local multiplayer for up to four players.[1] Initially released in Japan in 2006, the full game wasn't released in North America until more than a year later, in February 2008, but has never been released in Europe or Australia.

Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King
Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed KingDragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King is the eighth installment in the Dragon Quest series, developed by Level-5 and published by Square Enix for the PlayStation 2 video game console. It was also later released for the Nintendo 3DS in 2015. It is a traditional Japanese-style role-playing game with random enemy encounters, simple turn-based combat mechanics, and management of a party consisting of four characters, each belonging to a clearly defined class. Unlike its predecessors in the series and most Japanese RPGs in general, the game features a continuous world with fairly vast landscapes and integrated towns and dungeons, as opposed to world map traveling and locations represented by icons. The game features full camera rotation and optional first-person view. Like in the previous Dragon Quest games, many objects can be interacted with; for example, barrels can be physically lifted, carried, and broken, to reveal items hidden within.
