I honestly can’t believe no one knows or talks about this game. I’ve never heard anyone mention it, not back in the day, and not even when people talk about nostalgic games now. Apparently, no one had—or has—three friends to sit on a couch and play it with. PS2: URBAN REIGN.
The moment you try it with four friends, it becomes addictive. The next time you all get together, you have to play it again. Speaking for myself and my circle, this is what a fighting game is supposed to be—the peak of the genre. Nothing better has come out since. I’d even settle for a remaster with more characters.
Just imagine a party game like Power Stone or Crash Bash, but with Tekken's combat system—amazing combos and counters as you beat the hell out of each other. And yes, Law and Paul are in the game too. It is made by the Tekken developers, after all.
Picture playing Tekken with four people at the same time—armed or unarmed, in teams or free-for-all. That chaos, that adrenaline! It has an incredible counter and parry system, and if you're skilled enough, you can take on two or even three opponents at once.
It was our go-to game to wrap up FRP nights. If you're in a group of friends who like fighting games, do not miss this one. I’m not exaggerating—those who don’t know it are missing out on a hidden gem. I beg you, please bring this game back to life and give it back to us...!
