It is the best deathmatch and team deathmatch game in the world. I have played all the parts. We played arenas with all the bots on the highest difficulty in team or deathmatch deathmatch and I came in second, my friend in first. I have probably spent about 1000 hours on it in my entire life. It was really hard to get hold of in Germany. We only had pirated copies for over 20 years and later we got the original from abroad. There were five people including me who always played it and always wanted to own the original. After all these years it is the game I desire most. Over the years it has all been lost and it is not available on new PCs. GOG did not release it for Germany back then and now it is off the market. I want the original back, preferably on CD for a small amount of money! It cannot be compared to today's boring games like Mordern Boring Camperfield and Counter Boring. The game is valuable. It trains reflexes, you have to think quickly and tactically, you have to anticipate where an opponent is coming, it encourages thinking and first place feels like a reward. It's a really good game for kids and I mean it seriously, for training reflexes and tactical thinking, it even encourages the brain-finger connection. I've played it so often that I've managed to get so good at playing Duke Nukem Forever, for example, that I get knocked out of matches because I'm constantly in first place and people ask me if I use cheats. If you can play Unreal Tournament 2004 you have an advantage in many shooters, it's a foundation for almost all games. Others have held LAN parties with it, which we were too young for back then, cool kids. Every shooter I play today I compare to UT 2004 or UT 3 but none comes close! The holy games are Postal 2, Thrill Kill, Unreal Tournament 2004, Quake 3 Arena.
