This was an extended version of Twisted Metal: Head-On with a lot of bonuses. I would even dare to say the most content filled Twisted Metal game I ever played!!! Not only you get an updated port of Twisted Metal: Head-On. Which is the canon Twisted Metal 3 following Twisted Metal 2. You also get an unfinished set of levels for an canceled Twisted Metal: Black sequel. There's also an unfinished exploring mode you play as Sweet Tooth. A notable high light being they finally released the original version of Twisted Metal 1 endings. There's an exclusive challenge map you play as Tower Tooth. Sadly it doesn't have online multiplayer. Despite that I still liked in Twisted Metal: Lost there's two versions of Sweet Tooth. There's also an exclusive stage in Head-On you can play on top of all this madness. Some ending concepts from Twisted Metal III were reused. Although they were notably done better here. I also gotta mention Mortimer Scharf's ending is a classic. You can tell this had a lot of fan service going for it. Easily among my most wanted Twisted Metal games for GOG by far. Especially you're a huge Twisted Metal fan. In a few weeks will be Season 2 of the show on Peacock. I felt the hype from that show plus Twisted Metal III & 4 coming back on PS5 makes this a must have.

The prologue begins with the player driving in a Nissan Skyline R34 in Olympic City (though the racing scenes are actually in Bayview), the setting of NFS:UG. He then receives a race challenge from a rather ominous personality who offers him a spot on his crew, but "won't take 'no' for an answer." The player races off — despite Samantha's warnings — only to be ambushed by a mysterious driver in a rage that totals his Skyline.
