This is probably the best licensed game that Platinum has ever developed. I love that the game incorporates the original 1980s designs of the titular characters.
My favorite Transformers game and the best game from Platinum Games that i've ever played, i played this game SO MUCH in my childhood..

Last year, for the 40th Anniversary of Transformers, I wanted to do a let's play of Transformers Devastation, my favorite game, on the day of its anniversary... instead I gave my Xbox 360 the red dot of death, and hopefully it's salvageable. If it comes to GOG (with the DLC pack, please), then I might finally be able to fulfill my original goal!
This is the best Transformers game with the animated Generation 1 characters.
If you love Platinum Games, this game is for you and you will enjoy it. There is fantastic, fast and automatic gameplay with many bosses plus many weapons with upgrades, the possibility to play as autobots, all wrapped in wonderful nostalgic comic graphics and more.
It deserves to be played.
The first time I played this game with my friends, I immediately got hooked in to this game and played it through the end (even played across difficulties, namely Magnus and Prime). I wanted to buy this game on stores like Steam, it was set off sale due to PlatinumGames' licensing issue with Hasbro. It would be cool if GOG put this game on the platform, and if they did, I'd assure you to buy this game instantly when this game becomes available to buy.
Un jeux de PlatinumGames, que j'ai eu sur PS4 grâce au ps+ de l'époque. Etant fan de Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance je ne pouvais que aimer. Je voulais de racheter sur pc il y a quelque année mais il n'était plus disponible légalement. Ce que j'ai aimer c'est la Bo et le gameplay qui était très similaire a Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance avec les Transformers des année 80. J'aimerai tellement pouvoir remettre la main dessus. Merci a GOG de vouloir faire revivre des jeux non disponible de façon légal
This transformers game has no business being this good. Great platinum style combat, faithful interpritations of the classic transformers, if any transformers game should be on GOG it should be this one.

Where else does one get to destroy Decepticons as Grimlock while breathing fire and grabbing them out of midair with your jaws!
How can you not bring this game to GOG?
This is my favourite game ever made! I've been a Transformers fan for my entire life. Before this game was even announced my favourite video game was Metal Gear Rising Revengeance. At first I couldn't even believe it to be true that a Transformers game made by the same people was coming. Then they included few important original voice actors and legendary Transformers composer Vince DiCola. I was in heaven and the game was everything I ever hoped it would be. Of course it was, it was practically made just for people like me.
Sadly the game isn't available to buy anywhere anymore. Activision held the license then and now nothing can be done without Microsoft finding this and other Transformers games they also made from their cold dark basement.
GOG, if there's only one game in the entire universe that I would like to see added to your catalogue, it's this one. Of course I have copies I bought when the game came out but I would feel so much safer if I could get this preserved on GOG. I hope that dream could some day be a reality.
i played this game some time ago and had an absolute blast, i dumped hours into it. its cell shaded art style, the quick combat and presentation made it a cult favorite in my opinion. then one day my game disc got corrupted, and it was made unplayable, i slid the disc in, it would sometimes boot up, but only up to the Main menu, if i went past ithat the game would crash, softlocking my console in the process, i tried cleaning the disc, restarting my console, nothing was fixed. i would absolutely love to have this game avaliable again. this game is in licence expiration purgatory, making this diamond of a must play unavaliable to everyone, unless a working physical copy is in your library, theres no other way of playing it. which really sucks bc its currently an unobtainable treasure.
