I got the game on the bargain bin when I was about 9. I like the idea of the game somehow (maybe it was the part where I command tiny people to go around and make more tiny people towns) that I ended up blurting it to my video game clueless uncle at least once lol. But then, as a 9-year-old and non-native english speaker, I could barely finish the very first level (though I liked the ancient China aesthetic luckily). I remember gleefully-yet-also-painfully slogging through just to finish it and I was so happy when the little huts representing migrating people started to sprout in my market.
It would be great (24 years later) if I can get this game again without the added fuss of figuring out how to launch a .bin file. These days, "hard games" almost always refer to a souls game and it would be nice if there's something else in that category.
