Story:Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow is a stealth video game developed and published by Ubisoft Shanghai and Ubisoft Milan, while Ubisoft Montreal, developer of the original Splinter Cell, was working on Chaos Theory. Pandora Tomorrow is the second game in the Splinter Cell series endorsed by writer Tom Clancy. The game follows the covert activities of Sam Fisher, an agent working for a black-ops branch of the National Security Agency (NSA) called "Third Echelon". Sam Fisher is voiced by Michael Ironside. Dennis Haysbert voices the character Irving Lambert, Fisher's boss, making this the only time he is not voiced by Don Jordan. Lalo Schifrin provides the theme music for the game. A remastered high-definition version of Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow was announced for the PlayStation Network for the PlayStation 3 on December 20, 2010.Show more
This is the best Splinter Cell game. If they were to remake any of them. This would be the best one. I played this game over and over when I was a teenager. This is the game that showed me stealth could be even deeper than MGS. I cant believe that it cant be bought today... UNLESS UBISOFT IS REMAKING IT
While the wrong screenshots and trailer is shown, this title is oddly not available to buy digitally anywhere. All Splinter Cell games should be available as they are the height of stealth game play. I hope this would be an easy solution to get back online and would be a day one purchase.
When i was kid i didn't have money to buy any games, so i pirated a lot of games on my crappy computer, pandora tomorrow was one of them, a few years ago i started purchasing games i had pirated since i wanted to revisit them but sadly you can't put your hands in this game so easily anymore.
I believe all of the classic splinter cells deserve to be here. I was a kid with very little money and was able to afford a game maybe each month. Probably less but splinter cell was always a cheaper choice because it was a tom clancy game. Never understood why they were cheaper as i always thought they were some of the highest quality made games i had played for that gen. Still do. So i buy a copy of splinter cell 1 and take it home and end up pulling out a copy of chaos theory. And little me is confused, excited and regardless i play it to try it out. I have never felt such power, like i was stalking my prey and because of the environments and levels felt somehow cozy. Which those games somehow made me feel. I just had to play more. So the next few games i bought were the 1st one and then pandora's tomorrow. Pandora's tomorrow was a sad moment for me as it was the last of the high quality splinter cell's they took it in an interesting direction after that and while i still like double agent and even conviction i think that 1, chaos theory and pandora's tomorrow were able to preserve that feeling i had as a kid best and really make you feel like you were savimg the country. Great game, many games stand in the footprints of the giants that were the stealth defining 3rd person splinter cell original trilogy.
FreelancerEight hundred years prior to the start of our story, bitter conflict divided all of mankind. A handful of colonists struck out on their own to begin anew - far away from the Earth and its turmoil. Several ships were launched with enough equipment and supplies to give the hundreds onboard a fighting chance - but since the area around far-off Sirius had never been surveyed, no one really knew what to expect. What they found was a new frontier of free-flowing natural resources, unexplored territories, great wonders and lurking dangers. Each ship, representing the clusters of people and their earthly place of origin, settled into different parts of the galaxy pre-selected by their ship-board computer to give them the best chance of survival.
Life was hard in the beginning, but over the 800 years the different colonies prospered and expanded their territories, claiming more and more systems for their own. Survival and propagation eventually led to growth and profit as each of the colonies developed specialties and fostered commerce. As the colonies grew and time passed their connections with their roots on Earth dwindled and they lost their memories of the conflicts of the past. Soon their attention was dominated by new, more immediate conflicts. Feelings of lost ancestral connection spurred anachronism in the look of the great cities, and created a somewhat distorted image of each colony's cultural heritage. In the ever-expanding outer edge of the territories, frontier lawlessness prevailed.
The Houses: Each shipboard colony that left Earth carried some memory of its origins in its name. The Liberty carried Americans, The Bretonia flew from The United Kingdom and surrounding territory, The Kusari from Asia, and the Rheinland launched with Germanic cargo.
As each ship settled and colonies began to expand, they knew little about each other and their advancing development. Finally, little by little, the individual colonies found each other and began to set up trade routes to link their systems for commerce and solidarity.
Today, with each colony firmly rooted in its respective corner of the galaxy, the colonies rely heavily on each other for trade and industry but also compete for resources and new territories in the Border Worlds. The colonies mandate member governments in "The New Alliance" within the Sirius sector. To control conflicts, each colony has forged alliances and treaties with others as they have grown. Competition remains fierce, however. Struggles rage for supremacy in business, commerce, resources, power and control.
