Story:The Simpsons Game is based on the animated television series The Simpsons. It features an original storyline written by Tim Long, Matt Selman, and Matt Warburton. In the self-referential plot, the family discovers that they are forced to participate in another The Simpsons video game.
Man, the memories on this game! Played it a lot with my little sister and I want to play it again with her! Having this officialy on PC would greatly facilitate this :)
The Simpsons Game I played on Xbox 360 as well as PSP. Each version had a different cover art. Some versions had stuff exclusive to em. Which would make how to go about trying this back a bit trickier. This is easily one of the greatest Simpsons games ever made!!! You get this out there story with an ending you won't see coming. Not only that you play as The Simpsons in ways you haven't before. Like The Simpsons: Hit & Run, a huge love letter to the show. You also can co-op with a friend or family member. They do reference other stuff than The Simpsons to a degree. Recently it's a bit difficult to find ways to play this. I felt if The Simpsons Game gotten onto GOG. You can bet a lot of people going to buy it on the spot. Especially if they're Simpsons fans like myself.
I used to play this game in a PS2 and I didn't have a memory card so one day I decided I wanted to finish the game so during my vacations I started playing this game in the morning and kept my console turned on for 2 days until I was able to finish it, that was the only time I finished this game and would love to do it again but now with the ability to save my progress!
Not a memory but I’ve always wanted to play this game, at the time of release my family was going through a very tough financial time so I didn’t have money for games, but by the time I was able to buy games on my own this game wasn’t available to purchase. And me living in Puerto Rico at the time didn’t help either. Hopefully this game gets added to GOG, I will buy it in a heartbeat! Even if it is priced as a brand new released game.
I remember my dad helping me on the final level as a kid. Even though he knew nothing about video games we still managed to beat the boss. This was one of the first games I ever played and it would mean a lot to me to have this on PC.
A game that really should be brought back. I still think Hit & Run is a more pleasant experience, but this game feels like a love letter and a fun game when you love The Simpsons !
I remember having so much fun on this game. It's been forever since i played way back when I was a kid. This was definitely one of my favorites. When I'd bring up this game to people, they'll automatically assume hit and run. That is also a great game but this one was the best in my opinion. I would love to see it on here one day.
