though I don't watch TV much these days, me and my family used to be big on gameshows. Even after we stopped watching them as much me and my little brother still enjoy playing this together. though I honestly can't remember where it even came from. The Hidden Object Show just has such a cool style to it. it's set as a retro gameshow (even for the time). I always liked how the games in color but the host is monochrome. like he came right from the era of black and white tv. now, as a 90s kid with a good bit of 80s influence I always know what its asking for. but my brother who's a 00s kid sometimes doesn't know what the games asking him to find. but its part of the fun for me because I get to teach him about stuff he's never heard of. last time we played I taught him what a washboard is.
