Open-World games ... love them. Main story-line? Feh! I'd rather explore the world in my own fashion, craft my character in ways that suit my sensibilities, and generally play the game in my own, quirky, way. And Mods? ... lucky my rig can handle the stupid number I load. I generally drop 200 to 300 hours of gameplay time when I go in to replay one of these games. So, I'm definitely getting value for money. But, the games are not perfect - save often, 'cos a crash-to-desktop is waiting for the next time you open a chest or try to loot a bandit. I came in to the anthology with Morrowind, and moved up, but not backwards - I've never played the earliest games. This is my benchmark for what gaming should be like, and, at the core, it's the freedom to do whatever you like, however you like, hindered only by your ability to troubleshoot Mod conflicts and game bugs.
