I owned a C-64 for far too long, most of my friends already had a PC by the time. I spent a lot of time at friends just to play games on PC at their places. At one Christmas I finally got my own 386SX with monochrome VGA monitor, and Syndicate was the first game I installed and played the hell out of it. Not sure whether this was the reason I fell in love with Cyberpunk or I played Cyberpunk 2020 tabletop roleplaying game first, I'm unsure, but I love this game for sure.
I always thought when you select someone it said 'Syndicate' rather than 'Selected' :) also the sheer joy when it says 'Minigun' and then you can let hell loose, those memories cannot be brought back by any other games. But there are more: persuading a whole city, doing some firework with flamethrowers, getting hit by your own team members, or you hit your target person accidentally by car or kill him because of friendly fire. Oh, what a gold this was.
