An old RTS game centered around bugs. It was a great fun time, a sort of successor to Swarm Assault. It's not super dear to me per se, but it's definitely a game and experience I would preserve and want to relive at some point. Came around during the golden era for RTS games.
The reason why I feel this, as well as Swarm Assault are so significant is that they had a lot of really cool ideas that are underrepresented in other games right now. A degree of raw silliness, maybe a bit of weirdness that was more prevalent around the 90's. It deserves to be remembered because it managed to strike a good balance between quirky and cool.
I miss that time and what is represented in this game. It comes from a time where the rules regarding many of the games of nowadays were just starting to come about, and as such hardly lives by them. It's strange and unusual, but that's exactly why it's meaningful compared to what's around nowadays. And as many know, even back then most games that did go into unusual territories are hardly comparable to any of the other ones; you can't really compare this to Starcraft or C&C in the way it plays, other than it being distinctly an RTS.
It deserves to be remembered for how unique it was, for the unusual ideas, visuals and play style that you can't really find anywhere else. And overall, it was a pretty fun game too! I'd at least put it on par with something like KKND, which has been here on GOG for a while now.
