One of my favourite games ever. As an Australian I have barely seen snow in real life, much less ever been snowboarding. But this has to be one of the greatest games from my childhood. I still play it every now and then via emulator. Its such pure fun, I love the music and the charming sterotypical early 2000s characters and the entire vibe of this game. The other games in this franchise cant hold a candle to how dear this game is to my heart. So many great memories and such a great game, cant believe its so low on the "dreamlist". I really hope this can be on GOG one day or even just a remaster, but EA are too busy with Fifa loot boxes and shady stuff to ever give this franchise the time of day. Sad. It would be my dream to make a spirtual successor to this game one day if I ever won the lottery, this and a "Morrowind-like" rpg. Get all the modern slop off the top spots on the dream list and give games like these the top spots, come on guys.
Love this game. I used to play it for hours when I was a teenager. Wish it was still available to play somewhere. I can't say how many hours I spent playing this beating my high scores and unlocking all the boards and characters. Tokyo megaplex was such a fun course for getting high scores.
This is one of the greatest sports games ever made the soundtrack the environment the feel the soul that is in this game is intense and amazing. it must be taken from EA and Microsoft it is an absolute gem and it has been lost and if it came back it could hopefully revive some of the sports game industry because my god it is dead and boring and bad but also horrible. GIVE ME SSX TRICKY OR GIVE ME DEATH.
This game was the best on PS2, and actually the only EA Sports game I’ve ever owned and enjoyed. Had some fun maps, and the use of MC Hammer’s Tricky was over the top in this game!

So I was racing as a raving schizophrenic snowboarder and trying to punch my rival, a petite Japanese teenager, in the face to ruin her upcoming jump. Said jump involves several seconds of airtime where you earn speed boosts by doing tricks. Instead, I hit the guy directly behind her: a huge dude with a mullet and exposed beer belly who looks like he could eat both my character and my rival and still want to visit Applebees after the race. During the next race, the huge guy immediately starts off by going over to me and slugging my character in the face. Now both he and the Japanese schoolgirl are my rivals. Good times! If you miss when extreme sports games were actually extreme and stylish, try to get this and SSX3 onto GOG!

My most played game on the PS2, I was addicted to getting gold on all courses both race and freestyle mode which for me as a kid was seriously hard on the later courses. We were having split screen tournaments and shouting TRICKY along with Run-DMC. This game is just pure fun, and unfortunately it does not exist something like the SSX series today.

Need for Speed: Underground 2
Need for Speed: Underground 2Need For Speed Underground 2 takes place in Bayview after the events of Need for Speed: Underground. The prologue begins with the player driving in a Nissan Skyline R34 in Olympic City (though the racing scenes are actually in Bayview), the setting of NFS:UG. He then receives a race challenge from a rather ominous personality who offers him a spot on his crew, but "won't take 'no' for an answer." The player races off — despite Samantha's warnings — only to be ambushed by a mysterious driver in a rage that totals his Skyline. The driver, who has a unique scythe tattoo, makes a call confirming the accident, and the flashback fades out.
