Story:Ethan Waber, the main character, and his little sister, Lumia Waber, are at the celebration of the 100th year anniversary of the Alliance Space Fleet on the GUARDIANS Space station. The celebration is interrupted when a mysterious meteor shower almost destroys the entire fleet. During evacuation, Ethan and Lumia split off of the main evacuation route and collapsing rubble separates Lumia from Ethan. Ethan then meets up with a GUARDIAN named Leo, but they are attacked by a strange creature. The creature paralyzes Leo and Ethan takes his handgun and kills the creature. Leo then tells Ethan to find his sister and that a rescue team is on the way.Show more

Not playing any Phantasy Star online games when this return brought so my feeling of joy seeing these games were slowly coming back an it was the start. So hope we can bring this back again.
Quite literally the first MMO I played with my friends would love to see this again
online. The difference between my robot guy summoing attierly missles to kill a dragon or a giant sword was always a highlight for me
Ah I miss this game. Great customization options, cool music, great weapons and combat. I feel it didn't get the love it deserves.
I played it mostly with my brother. I nearly always played Ranger and loved that you could aim in first person. We were fighting some big flying demon bat boss which my brother countn't reach. Not thinking too much of it, I fired at the demon and just kept going for the wings. The delight when I damaged them enough for the boss to come crashing down to earth and my brother running in and tearing it up in melee. Sounds really daft now I suppose but having that "OH MY GOD IT WORKED!!" moment was really fun.

It has a simple story line where the hero needs to save Albion from the evil Lord Lucian by collecting together the other three heroes to defeat him. Interactive cut-scenes are a large part of the game however the main character never speaks and all dialogue is uncontrolled.
The game features a large variety of game play and freedom, allowing a player to shape the world around and the characters appearance and moral standing based on decisions throughout the game.
