I got this game for Wii way back in the day and it was/is so much fun. There was some annoyances with the Wii mote not drawing properly when trying to do some of the drawings in some levels, but overall a really fun game. I really want to go back and replay this but wanting to do it on PC and through gog. This game still holds up to this day. I still remember playing through the game and it really did feel like it was like 3 games in one with how long it was and how much content when playing it. From the visuals which look awesome, to the music, and the feeling you get when you clean up and area with the music and stuff blooming etc always was a nice feeling and fun. Getting stronger, new weapons, and learning new moves made it that much more fun the further you got. For the longest time after playing the game for the first time on Wii I wondered about a sequel and got my hopes up when the DS game came along. But now recently after seeing the teaser that they are working on a Okami II has me pretty excited. I wanna go back and re-explore this world again. Capcom what are you doing, put this on gog already. Would be pretty nice to be able to play this these days while waiting for Okami II to show up here as well in so many years. I want to play as Amaterasu again and draw away the pollution.
My husband bought it for me back in 2007, and it was love at first sight. 💖 I spent countless nights playing Ōkami, fully immersed in the beautiful world and the adventures of the fluffy Amaterasu. Almost 20 years later, my love for this game and its captivating heroine remains just as strong. 🐺✨ The stunning and unique graphics of Ōkami are truly a visual masterpiece. The art style, inspired by traditional Japanese sumi-e ink painting, gives the game a timeless and breathtaking aesthetic. This precious gem of a game should never be forgotten. 🎨🏮

This game is fun. Lots of people say it's old but I don't think it really is. I could of sworn this game was on GOG last year for a little but got removed? Who knows anyway

I played 3 versions of this game in total: the Wii version, the PS3 version & the HD Steam version. All the way back from the Wii version when I was a kid, I knew that this game was awesome. Everything, from the artstyle, the music, the dialogue & the folklore made this game an unforgettable experience. Please, don't let this game remain in DRM Hell, although I know how litigious Capcom can be with that sort of thing.

I remember seeing the original PS2 game in a store, with the Capcom logo and immediately realizing I was in front of a true masterpiece. And I was right. I brought it home and immediately loved the artwork, the gameplay, the humor, the references to other Capcom games and the story. And the fact my wife also instantly loved the game confirmed to me I was witnessing a true milestone in gaming history. This game is a gem, and more people must have the chance to experience it. So yes, if there's a single game that deserves being on this list, this one is it.
Loved playing the PS2 version, recently played the HD version on Steam and it did not feel great. Random crashes and compatibility issues soured my experience. Really hope the GOG team can deliver not only a DRM-free version of this masterpiece but also a more refined experience before the sequel comes out.
Honestly, I feel like this and Onimusha being on GOG are inevitable if Capcom is slowly allowing newer remasters of their games to be allowed (so far the only Capcom games here are mostly custom engines, Dragon's Dogma/DMC4SE are MT Framework games), so I'm really hoping Okami is next since I really love this game. It's pretty much my favorite "it's not Zelda!" kind of game next to Beyond Good & Evil, Darksiders, etc. It's one of my favorites and I'm excited for the sequel in the far future. My biggest wish is for the 4K content to be a separate optional download, so that the install size wouldn't be super bloaty (with it, it's around 28GB, without it's around 8GB or so), just a personal preference but it would be super nice if GOG/Capcom would do that.

Freelancer
FreelancerEight hundred years prior to the start of our story, bitter conflict divided all of mankind. A handful of colonists struck out on their own to begin anew - far away from the Earth and its turmoil. Several ships were launched with enough equipment and supplies to give the hundreds onboard a fighting chance - but since the area around far-off Sirius had never been surveyed, no one really knew what to expect. What they found was a new frontier of free-flowing natural resources, unexplored territories, great wonders and lurking dangers. Each ship, representing the clusters of people and their earthly place of origin, settled into different parts of the galaxy pre-selected by their ship-board computer to give them the best chance of survival. Life was hard in the beginning, but over the 800 years the different colonies prospered and expanded their territories, claiming more and more systems for their own. Survival and propagation eventually led to growth and profit as each of the colonies developed specialties and fostered commerce. As the colonies grew and time passed their connections with their roots on Earth dwindled and they lost their memories of the conflicts of the past. Soon their attention was dominated by new, more immediate conflicts. Feelings of lost ancestral connection spurred anachronism in the look of the great cities, and created a somewhat distorted image of each colony's cultural heritage. In the ever-expanding outer edge of the territories, frontier lawlessness prevailed. The Houses: Each shipboard colony that left Earth carried some memory of its origins in its name. The Liberty carried Americans, The Bretonia flew from The United Kingdom and surrounding territory, The Kusari from Asia, and the Rheinland launched with Germanic cargo. As each ship settled and colonies began to expand, they knew little about each other and their advancing development. Finally, little by little, the individual colonies found each other and began to set up trade routes to link their systems for commerce and solidarity. Today, with each colony firmly rooted in its respective corner of the galaxy, the colonies rely heavily on each other for trade and industry but also compete for resources and new territories in the Border Worlds. The colonies mandate member governments in "The New Alliance" within the Sirius sector. To control conflicts, each colony has forged alliances and treaties with others as they have grown. Competition remains fierce, however. Struggles rage for supremacy in business, commerce, resources, power and control. There can be tenuous peace between colonies' political agendas, but the grabs for holdings constantly unsettle the volatile frontier.

Black & White 2
Black & White 2In the game, the player takes the role of a god called from the void (nothingness) to help those who invoked them. However, the player is not an omnipotent style god, but rather a god who rises and falls with his believers and the player must help develop their nature according to their good or evil desires. The player also has a creature, their physical representation in the world, which takes the form of an anthropomorphic ape, lion, wolf, turtle, cow, or tiger. Its physical manifestation can grow to an immense size, and adopt a good or evil persona separate of the player's. They develop their character as the player rewards or punishes their actions. In addition to the god simulation and city-building elements introduced in the original Black & White, Black & White 2 also features elements of real-time strategy gameplay, with the addition of controllable warfare and fighting units.
