My favorite NFS game of all times. It is a great race across the USA very good idea for a racing game . Much to see and experience in this game don't want to spoil nothing. How ever this game deserves to be on GOG because, the only way to get it is to pirate it and we all don't want to do that if there is a legal way for us to own this cool game,
Context is a powerful way to enhance a moment, the reason people do what they do, for this game it would be: Run or Die. You owe the mob, they want you dead, and there's no where to hide. To pay your debt, you will go as fast as you can and win the biggest race in the world: The Run. To this day the only NFS game with guns.

I see The Run as one of the boldest moves in the franchise — a game that broke away from the traditional formula with style. Its story could easily have been the plot of an action-packed road movie. While playing through the main campaign, I could really feel the urgency and the protagonist’s desperate need to win. I enjoyed the visuals, the sense of momentum, and the variety of challenges introduced in each new stage. It was a unique and memorable journey, taking me through diverse and scenic locations across the United States, coast to coast.

Such an underrated game. I remember I used to play this with a few of my mates back when it was released. The Run, Most Wanted, Carbon and Undercover are some of the titles we loved playing back then. The title was unique in a way that felt like a cinematic action-packed rally race. We played at least 4 times to get a feel with the different cars available at the start of some of the stages in the game. My only complaint about the game are the QTEs at the start of the game and somewhere in between the stages.
Bought myself a Christmas present a week early, a brand-new PS3. But, I needed games. With only a few days notice, my wonderful partner bought me three games, as Christmas presents: NFS - The Run was the first I unwrapped. It went into the PS3 immediately, and was it days before I played the other two!! I've played most of the NFS titles, and The Run is one of the best. NFS: The Run, has not complex city to learn your way around. Just a single race across the US, split into stages, and a target position to finish the stage in; ultimately finishing the final stage in 1st. And, each stage different, and with it own challenges and rewards
An underrated classic, most NFS games ran on the coolness of the cars, music and locations in each game. This one stands out for having a loose but grounded story about escaping the mob giving us a reason to race across the U.S. One of the best racing games I wish more people could experience and appreciate.
Was a great cross country race. Was awesome logging in everyday and seeing your friends times. Would always go back and forth trying to beat each other. Great Premise, well executed, and unfortunately trapped on old hardware now.
Those games also need your vote!
Need for Speed: Underground 2
Need for Speed: Underground 2Need For Speed Underground 2 takes place in Bayview after the events of Need for Speed: Underground. The prologue begins with the player driving in a Nissan Skyline R34 in Olympic City (though the racing scenes are actually in Bayview), the setting of NFS:UG. He then receives a race challenge from a rather ominous personality who offers him a spot on his crew, but "won't take 'no' for an answer." The player races off — despite Samantha's warnings — only to be ambushed by a mysterious driver in a rage that totals his Skyline. The driver, who has a unique scythe tattoo, makes a call confirming the accident, and the flashback fades out.
