This game is still unreleased and I do feel newer games like this or even Dread should still be experienced on Nintendo hardware firsthand.
That being said, I feel the hardware might be limiting what Retro studios could do with an open world game like this, compared to that of a powerful PC. You can tell in the trailers this game feels sorta empty, textures don't look that great. Even the Direct seems to not really highlight this game that much.
Best comparison to how it feels is the Witcher 3 Steam Deck/Switch port vs PC, look and compare at the opening environment on the balcony, to see how barebones it is portable vs the denser forests and photo realism of the sky on the PC, and that game is 10 years old.
Things might change closer to release date, but I'd still love to see what this could look and feel like with some real power behind it, that I don't think the Switch or Switch 2 can really deliver on.
