This was probably the first park management simulator I ever played and while I never did finish it, I would like to try to do so now if it's released on this platform.

Considering the original isn't compatible with newer systems.... would love to play this again - been itching to play it again for awhile....
Got stuck at the mission where aliens (?) invaded the park and you had to remove a bunch of stuff to find em but no matter what I removed, the game didn't progress. Dunno whether it was a bug or my childish incompetence, but I'd like another crack at it please
This game was the first management simulator that I ever played. The CD version of this game does not work on 64 bit systems and I would love to be able to replay through the game and re-experience some of my childhood memories.
My first and still only one theme park I loved. A solid story for children, an easy-to-understand game with advice of the director that will guide you through the evaluation. The different theme of the park and the Lego style are well rendered. I want to play this game for years, but he is nowhere. It would be awesome if there will be a place on Gog for this game.
I have fond memories of playing this as a kid. Probably one of the games that got me into PC gaming, first city/park management game I ever played. I have a disk I can submit to GOG if thats what they need to add this, unfortunately as another comment mentions it doesn't work on current 64bit systems, and I have no idea if there are workarounds.
I love this game so much as a kid! Fingers crossed, I hope GOG will add this game soon! Because the CD version was a pain back then, but hopefully we will get it digital
I didn't really grow up with a PC, but I was always allowed to use my parents' computer and play. There were only three games, and one of them was Legoland, and I played that game over and over again whenever I was allowed access. I still remember scenes like the intro and the presentation of new attractions, the childish frustration when a task wasn't completed correctly, and the bonus videos, which were nothing more than advertisements for various Legoland theme parks. To this day, you can't play this great game digitally or find it used anywhere, which is why I would be even more pleased if it were available here.
Played this family friendly game as a kid. I found it was a fun introduction to Park Management games with the freedom to build instead of getting dragged into the business spreadsheets or puzzle elements that similar games such as the original Theme Park (by Bullfrog) was known for.

FreelancerEight hundred years prior to the start of our story, bitter conflict divided all of mankind. A handful of colonists struck out on their own to begin anew - far away from the Earth and its turmoil. Several ships were launched with enough equipment and supplies to give the hundreds onboard a fighting chance - but since the area around far-off Sirius had never been surveyed, no one really knew what to expect. What they found was a new frontier of free-flowing natural resources, unexplored territories, great wonders and lurking dangers. Each ship, representing the clusters of people and their earthly place of origin, settled into different parts of the galaxy pre-selected by their ship-board computer to give them the best chance of survival.
Life was hard in the beginning, but over the 800 years the different colonies prospered and expanded their territories, claiming more and more systems for their own. Survival and propagation eventually led to growth and profit as each of the colonies developed specialties and fostered commerce. As the colonies grew and time passed their connections with their roots on Earth dwindled and they lost their memories of the conflicts of the past. Soon their attention was dominated by new, more immediate conflicts. Feelings of lost ancestral connection spurred anachronism in the look of the great cities, and created a somewhat distorted image of each colony's cultural heritage. In the ever-expanding outer edge of the territories, frontier lawlessness prevailed.
The Houses: Each shipboard colony that left Earth carried some memory of its origins in its name. The Liberty carried Americans, The Bretonia flew from The United Kingdom and surrounding territory, The Kusari from Asia, and the Rheinland launched with Germanic cargo.
As each ship settled and colonies began to expand, they knew little about each other and their advancing development. Finally, little by little, the individual colonies found each other and began to set up trade routes to link their systems for commerce and solidarity.
Today, with each colony firmly rooted in its respective corner of the galaxy, the colonies rely heavily on each other for trade and industry but also compete for resources and new territories in the Border Worlds. The colonies mandate member governments in "The New Alliance" within the Sirius sector. To control conflicts, each colony has forged alliances and treaties with others as they have grown. Competition remains fierce, however. Struggles rage for supremacy in business, commerce, resources, power and control.
