An excellent game through and through. I've played this on Xbox 360 and Steam versions, getting all achievements on the later save a single, really annoying one.
The facial-capture tech was groundbreaking in 2011, and the ability to explore an open-world recreation of 1947 Los Angeles was astounding. Even though some corners were a bit empty. Not to mention the period-appropriate radio music and original score that made it all even more immersive. Pretty hard-hitting storytelling, to the point that some of those ideas probably wouldn't be allowed into more recent games. Finally, the great performances of all the talented actors involved truly brought the characters to life.
This game would sit very nicely alongside other hardboiled detective fare here on GOG and it would be great for it to be freed from Rockstar's regularly updating launcher that does little for this game.
