Henry's come to see us! God bless you, Henry! I backed this game on Kickstarter, and while it wasn't everything it was promised to be -- with some features being pushed back to KCD2, it really showed me that high-fantasy RPGs aren't the only RPGs that can be fun. You don't always need monsters in a mythological form, when humans can be just as monsterous (reminds me a lot of the vibes the Witcher gave me in that respect).
It's not an amazing game generally speaking, but it explored the kind of games that other publishers didn't care for, and I dare say it opened up the eyes of some publishers and encouraged them to take a second look at these kinds of products.
