The Killer Instinct Base Game will be FREE TO PLAY on all platforms: Xbox consoles (One, Series X|S), Windows PC, and Steam. The free KI base game will feature one free weekly rotating Fighter and Single-Player, Local, and Ranked modes.
The Killer Instinct Anniversary Edition will include all 29 Fighters, and all Premium Content ever released: the VIP Double XP Booster, holiday accessories, and more. This edition replaces the "Definitive Edition," which was delisted upon release of the Anniversary Edition.
The 10th Anniversary Update will go even further, with a few more changes:
- Improved matchmaking. We want to make it easier for folks to find matches quickly, regardless of which platform they’re playing on.
- Optimization for Series X|S consoles.
- Balance updates. That’s right – new meta for Killer Instinct, more than five years after the last adjustments!
The following Mature-rated content included in KI Definitive Edition will NOT be included in the Anniversary Edition:
- Definitive Edition App (featuring developer interviews, concept art, Killer Cuts soundtrack)
- Xbox KI Classic 1 & 2
- But DON’T WORRY! If you already own Killer Instinct Definitive Edition digitally, you will still be able to download the above content even after the Definitive Edition is retired.Show more
Killer Instinct: Anniversary Edition is a must for either Killer Instinct fans or fighting fans in general. This is packing so much content it's virtually mind blowing. You get a lot of characters with majority being DLC ones. You get a few modes that have their own unique experiences. Plenty of stages to play for months to years. There's a lot of challenges for the roster as well. Assuming they enable the achievements, there's a few hundred achievements alone!!! You get so many skins for the roster I can't name many fighting games that comes close. This is a truly solid fighting game that properly modernizes Killer Instinct. It's really mind blowing such an fighting game actually exists!!! The soundtrack with the sound effects are really impressive as well. There's plenty of secrets hidden in the game. Also considering the gap from Killer Instinct 2 or Gold, this is well worth the wait.
Its a crime we dont have a proper sequel to this game like seriously

Dark EarthDark Earth is a post-apocalyptic action-adventure game for the PC.
Dark Earth takes place several centuries in the future, when a meteor collision with Earth tossed up great clouds of dust that blocked out the sun. Earth's remaining survivors began to seek refuge beneath small openings in the clouds, the few places light could be found. Those that remained in the 'dark earth' were hunted by strange creatures, infected with the darkness.
To shelter themselves from the dangerous 'dark earth', the people began to form cities beneath the light called 'Stallites'. At the time of the game, most of the citizens of the stallite have forgotten their history and now worship the light as a god. The stalites are run by 'Sun Priests', who maintain order and prevent the creatures of darkness from harming the city. The game follows the story of Arkhan, a "guardian of fire", protector of the stallite 'Sparta' and the Sun Priests.
After an attack on the sun priests, Arkhan has a poison thrown into his face that begins to infect him with the dark sickness. He begins to mutate into a creature of the dark and has to find a cure before his transformation is complete.
