Playing this game without the CD with my neighbour and ly brother.
Hours and hours of local multi-player games during the summer while we were not playing footbal outside
Having it on GoG would mean that i could have it safeguarded to play it with my sons & their uncle when they are old enough !
I must have been around 4 or 5 years old when I first discovered the game, somewhere around 2006, thanks to my cousin. At first, I’d just sit and watch him play for hours, and we’d end up spending countless summer nights on it. Over the years, no matter what other genres of games I went through, HOMM4 was always installed on my PC. About two years ago, I finally bought it properly, because I felt it was the right thing to do and a way of saying thank you to its creators. Even though it’s not exactly a masterpiece or a game that changed the world of gaming, for me it’s always been that one game I keep coming back to with joy and the same desire to play it again.

Black & White 2In the game, the player takes the role of a god called from the void (nothingness) to help those who invoked them. However, the player is not an omnipotent style god, but rather a god who rises and falls with his believers and the player must help develop their nature according to their good or evil desires. The player also has a creature, their physical representation in the world, which takes the form of an anthropomorphic ape, lion, wolf, turtle, cow, or tiger.
