I love this game. It's another banger from Tango Gameworks, right beside Hi-Fi Rush. I played it through Gamepass and I fully intend to buy it. It's narrative and its use of Japanese Folklore and culture really brings you in and makes you actually attatched to these characters. The gameplay is fun and also on point, though I totally suck. The graphics are impressive and still look good and the replicated scale of Tokyo for the setting really makes you think you're standing in the beautiful city. Ghostwire and Hi-Fi are two games I know should be preserved and brought to GOG DRM-free to join The Evil Within, Tango's other Horror series, and I will most definitely buy this whenever it gets put on here.
This game has been a lot of fun so far, I have about 35 hours in. I would love to purchase it on GoG. I actually feel pulled in to the story and gameplay; something that rarely happens with modern games.
This game belongs to the best ones! It shows the beautiful places in Tokyo plus the japanese urban legends are really great to see when it comes to fighting them. Hopefully this game won't die and would have a sequel in the future (wishing for a miracle)
i really likeed it very good graphic combat story very very very good I am recomnding one of the best game I tried I really think peple should try it and the price worth it trust me put it on wishlist and wait until it is on discount

This game and its attention to detail is exceptional. The atmosphere that it capture, absolutely spot on. You feel that whole city disappeared at ones, with cars still running, lights flashing, phones on the floor, music playing in clubs, water running in bath houses. Its creation of Tokyo and crazy attention to detail to the culture and city architecture is beyond. It is one of the games, and when you play it, you don’t want to end. I havnt ever finished this game, simply because I dont want to end it. Rather I just wonna live through. Aside from that, the visuals and art style is again astonishing. And the animations is very fluid and jaw dropping. It may sound like I am overly glazing this game, but you have to really play and feel it to understand. It’s on the kind in the Horror/Exploration genre.
For me it's a more than a fun game: it celebrates japanes culture, Gagaku, Shinto, Yokai. I loved to collect the tanuki and also I discovered the hero from Mizuki Shigeru Manga Kitaro drawn at a window at the school. I loved to buy things from Konbini from Nekomata-san. It's so authentic for Tokyo with all it different districts, the construction sites, the shrines and Tempels hidden in downtown. One year later I played the game I went again to Japan and had two weeks in Tokyo because of language school. I also take fotos of construction sites and telephone boxes - there are plenty in Tokyo, but also with WIFI. The story is really suspending and the gameplay was also nice. I love japanese cities and rural japan, so this was the best game ever for me. Also the story was so suspending and it was hard to stop a gaming session. Some combats I had to try twice and had to understand how to beat the boss. But it was a feasible game. I felt sorry at the end, that no one of the detectives came with Akito back in the real world, but that is Ichie Ichigo. It's a purely japanese Game and good key to understand japenese mentality.
I got this game because i saw its "hauting" levels online and i was very intrigued by them. And after spending a lot of time with (still havent finished it, it has become my favorite game in the open world shooter genre. It all comes down to the details like the random events that make creepy or weird things to happen, water drops from rain looking like kanji(i think) characters and many other details. The gameplay is also really fun, at first i just thought that three powers/weapons wouldnt be enough but they give you so many ways to use them and other things to add on that it more than makes up for it, also helped by having the enemies you fight being interesting with different strategies to beat them (also helps they look amazing). All in all this is a great game and its one of the most unique experiences i have ever played.

I've always loved Japanese culture, landscapes, and atmosphere. I often watch videos without commentary of people walking around Tokyo with a webcam. In this game, I was able to do just that. The atmosphere is stunning, the stories are interesting, and the trappings of Japanese folklore are woven into it. It's my favorite game.
This is one of the most unique games I think I’ve ever played. I was looking for a game specifically like this and when I found it I was hooked. I played Ghostwire Tokyo at a very special time in my life when I was truly discovering myself and what I liked and this game supported that sentiment so well. The combat feels satisfying and blends well, the environment and story are top notch and the pure concept of the game being nothing but a passion project truly elevates this game for me. If you like Japanese Folklore dark and mysterious abandoned cities, spirits and the otherworldly and a story of redemption this is the game for you. I want this game on GOG because if this game were to shutdown I would be devastated. There is quite literally nothing else like it and I plan to replay it many many more times. PLEASE PLAY IT, take a step out (or in if you were already day looking to play something like this) of your comfort zone and enjoy something so unique I’ll treasure it forever :).

This game has one of the best atmospheres, visuals and combat dynamics in recent videogame history. The story is also very captivating, with some missions being downright terrifying. It definitely deserves a sequel!!

Freelancer
FreelancerEight hundred years prior to the start of our story, bitter conflict divided all of mankind. A handful of colonists struck out on their own to begin anew - far away from the Earth and its turmoil. Several ships were launched with enough equipment and supplies to give the hundreds onboard a fighting chance - but since the area around far-off Sirius had never been surveyed, no one really knew what to expect. What they found was a new frontier of free-flowing natural resources, unexplored territories, great wonders and lurking dangers. Each ship, representing the clusters of people and their earthly place of origin, settled into different parts of the galaxy pre-selected by their ship-board computer to give them the best chance of survival. Life was hard in the beginning, but over the 800 years the different colonies prospered and expanded their territories, claiming more and more systems for their own. Survival and propagation eventually led to growth and profit as each of the colonies developed specialties and fostered commerce. As the colonies grew and time passed their connections with their roots on Earth dwindled and they lost their memories of the conflicts of the past. Soon their attention was dominated by new, more immediate conflicts. Feelings of lost ancestral connection spurred anachronism in the look of the great cities, and created a somewhat distorted image of each colony's cultural heritage. In the ever-expanding outer edge of the territories, frontier lawlessness prevailed. The Houses: Each shipboard colony that left Earth carried some memory of its origins in its name. The Liberty carried Americans, The Bretonia flew from The United Kingdom and surrounding territory, The Kusari from Asia, and the Rheinland launched with Germanic cargo. As each ship settled and colonies began to expand, they knew little about each other and their advancing development. Finally, little by little, the individual colonies found each other and began to set up trade routes to link their systems for commerce and solidarity. Today, with each colony firmly rooted in its respective corner of the galaxy, the colonies rely heavily on each other for trade and industry but also compete for resources and new territories in the Border Worlds. The colonies mandate member governments in "The New Alliance" within the Sirius sector. To control conflicts, each colony has forged alliances and treaties with others as they have grown. Competition remains fierce, however. Struggles rage for supremacy in business, commerce, resources, power and control. There can be tenuous peace between colonies' political agendas, but the grabs for holdings constantly unsettle the volatile frontier.

Black & White 2
Black & White 2In the game, the player takes the role of a god called from the void (nothingness) to help those who invoked them. However, the player is not an omnipotent style god, but rather a god who rises and falls with his believers and the player must help develop their nature according to their good or evil desires. The player also has a creature, their physical representation in the world, which takes the form of an anthropomorphic ape, lion, wolf, turtle, cow, or tiger. Its physical manifestation can grow to an immense size, and adopt a good or evil persona separate of the player's. They develop their character as the player rewards or punishes their actions. In addition to the god simulation and city-building elements introduced in the original Black & White, Black & White 2 also features elements of real-time strategy gameplay, with the addition of controllable warfare and fighting units.
