This is one of the greatest baseball simulation games ever. It was sabremetrics before they were widely known. I spent so much time playing this game that it broke my old PC. I still have the disk and have been trying to get it to play on my current machine, but it just crashes whenever I try to start a career game.
This game is still one of the best baseball video games ever made! I always wished this series continued. I would certainly love to see some added features like being able to expand leagues over seasons, rain outs instead of just rain delays, and a fuller minor league system such as what OOTP gives us, but even as is, this game is phenomenal and I would buy it in a second! To this day I still miss it. The results in the simulated games were always believeable!
